The perfect Moorgarth project
The Connolly Works situated in Kings Cross had all the ingredients to be transformed into a creative, vibrant workspace given the right design team and strong leadership - this was a perfect Moorgarth project.
A building with a story to tell
This interesting building, set within an urban warehouse, has a story to tell. It was once occupied by Connolly Leather, famous for producing high-quality leather to British car manufacturers such as: Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and Jaguar. Their leather also featured in Concorde, the Spitfire and the House of Commons, as well as on the desks supplied for the nearby British Library.
Unique design that reflect the building’s heritage
We worked with our design team to realise a scheme that reflects the building’s heritage, including features such as hand painted poster art, reminiscent of that time period. At Moorgarth our aim is make each workspace unique for our Boutique Workplace Company brand and avoid ‘cookie cutter’ design solutions.
A strong first impression
We installed a glass roof to let in lots of natural light and created an impressive entrance area with lots of space for informal meetings and hot desking.
A building for today’s workplace trends
This is a dog-friendly office, offering bike racks and showers, to meet the lifestyle needs of our tenants. A members’ lounge with bar, and a stylish roof terrace, allow plenty of options for socialising, networking and client entertaining.
A place where tenants feel at home
The Connolly Works offers a variety of office types from light, glass fronted spaces to more enclosed rooms with exposed brickwork. We ensure there’s plenty of scope for each tenant to apply their own branding.
